To make this tactic solid you will need to play two DMC's with a AMC in the middle in midfield. also play with an SC in the middle of the three strikers. I play with three SC's and they score bucket loads. I generaly play with anyone at the back as long as their in their natural position.

From the preset formations select 4-3-3 and remove all player runs.

Emphasis - Attacking

Passing - Normal

Tackling - Normal

Pressing - Yes

Offside trap - No

Counter Attack - No

Men Behind the Ball - No

Player instructions

Passing - All team

Tackling all team, except three midfielders who are set to HARD.

Pressing all set to yes except the four defenders and the goalkeeper.

Pass to - Everyone set to R/L/C

Set pieces (A) DL/DR Back, rest forward.

Set Pieces (D) Middle CM normal, Middle striker forward, rest back

Free role - All NO.

Forward runs - DL/DR, Middle CM and all three strikers yes. rest no

Run with ball - DL/DR, Middle CM and all three strikers yes. rest no

Hold up ball - All NO

Long Shots - Three midfielders yes, rest no.

hey

im new to this site, but have been viewing it for a while, and i really like this formation, but i seem to concede a lot of goals playing it, and i was wondering if you guys can come up with any modifications to keep it defensive while still keeping the attacking instinct within my side?

thanks

FMH11 is prone to lots of goals, ergo you'll find no tactic which doesn't conede a lot (except for mine which concede surprisingly few goals :))

Or mine. I found that rarely concedes

Although it does help if you have a strong defence in front of goal.. e.g. Chelsea, Barcelona, Man Utd :)

yeah i did find that

just out of interest, what is that formation? im just trying out various formations and systems to try and find my most effective

thanks again

and i used derby, which would possibly be why my defence is so leaky

Um...

NO

I use this tactic in my Forest green save file and averaged about 5.67 goals per game so far. I don't know about you, but that doesn't look like a fail now, does it?

Because dec answered one of my questions and I said 'thanks' underneath his answer but then four people posted ahead of mine

I used this before but adapted it to have 2 AMC and 1 DMC instead of other way around to adapt to my many AMC's compared to DMC's I had at the time, still worked wonders. Shows how easy it is to use this tactic

I use this tactic and work's like a charm. But I edited it a little bit:the side midfielders are now AMF's and in the center I use a DMF.The AMF's are making forward runs towards the side attackers.I found that useful because the AMF's do a lot of crosses and my attackers(Nilmar,Darren Bent,Muller) score a lot of goals. My only downside is defence.I can't seem to find some good wing defenders.Anyways here is my team:

Aston Villa

Hart

Ziegler-David Luiz-Dunne-Cuellar

Hazard-Ireland(Huddlestone)-Wilshere

Nilmar-Bent-Agbonlahor(Muller)

One question I have:Who should execute the corner kicks and the free kicks in this team and who the playmakers should be(I use Bent and Nilmar Muller as playmakers)

I notice that using AMF on both sides adds flair to the already attacking options of this tactic. Though obvious to some I thought that sharing it here is the least i could do.
