ter-Stegen is one of the best, and yet not too expensive U21 GKs in the game.

He has seen a slight dip in stats from the previous edition, but with IT, he could easily have >16 stats in all relevant GKing stats. In my first run, he has only conceded twice in 7 games, an amazing feat!

Definitely a bargain for your money if you are looking for a GK that will last you long, at least another 14 years!

Ter Stegen has been vaulted into Goalkeeping glory since FM 2013 came out as his potential is equal to that of Iker Casillas, which is only surpassed by Buffon (in-game currently)- amd Buffon has the highest Potential other than Messi...

Just to give ou an idea of the growing space you've been given with this guy

Leno is good, but he has a weakness in communication that Ter Stegen covers for without problems...

Leno also has consistency/pressure issues whereas Ter Stegen will get the polar opposite.

Given enough time, Leno will still become one of the best Goalkeepers out there, but unless a big spender decides to bully you, get Ter Stegen

I always try and sign Ter Stegen he develops into one of the best keepers in the game.

If only England could have faith in young goalkeepers like the Germans do...

(besides Butland most goalkeepers are 24+)
