Confronted with the lack of creativity on the midfield i did some shopping

As always Benteke scores. Not the win that was predicted, but a decent 0-2 victory for the cup.

 

Champions league

A big win on the Rivals with 4 goals from Christian winning over two legs with 2-10

 

Sadly after a 3-0 lose in the first leg, and after a briljant performance of the team in the second leg, the Semi finals where the end for our Champions league dream.

 

The league 

Only 1 lose and 3 draws in the whole season. Defence of Barca was only 3 goals better.

Season 1 *rebooted*

 

Well the shit hit the fan… iphone crashing no backup and a co-worker who tried to fix who almost fried my phone resulted in a lose of all my Benteke resources. *note to self read manual and put Icloud save on*

Too continue I had to restart my challenge. So her we go!

 

The tactic

A plus side to have to start over, I can use my own created tactic. A nice 4-3-2-1 *roles are not yet disclosed J* because I want to use it for some other challenges.

Confronted with a mid season injury and a 2 month during injury Christian wasn’t able to hit big numbers, but not to bad for a first season!

66 goals in the first season in 48 matches! With some additions to the team he should be able to score even more! (screenshot is from second season, so you get a sneak preview ;-) )

Season 2

 
First season under his belt showing promise for a successful second season. But was Christian able to live up to the expectations? Well all I can say is bloody hell he did deliver!
 
The Transfers

Granted a big transfer budget, and requesting some additional transfer money which was granted twice it was time to beef up the squad. Problem with the Real Madrid squad it is pretty small, and aging.  

 

Highlights: For the midfield I trusted on the good old Hamsik, signed Marc ter Stegen as a replacement for Casillias and Lamela to replace Di Maria in the starting eleven.

Season 3 update

 

After season 14/15, I was brimming with confidence. Benteke turned out to be a real Pearl and all was sunny in Real Madrid. So how did season 3 go?
 
The Transfers

I wasn’t too happy with the overall performance of Jucilei as my stand in BBM behind Garmash and Khedira getting older, so I needed a replacement. After failing last season to get Pogba because I refused to pay 89 million euro’s I picked him up for a nice 50 million.  Major other transfers where Rafael to replace Arbeloa and Balante to beef up the defense.

 

Bored with other players I signed some regens who looked promising and get my second squad performing. And possibly find the new Messi, Xavi etc to help Benteke achieve his goals

Great 3^rd season . Would have been great to get over 100 again. But just missed out. Worrying though is that Benteke failed to score consecutive matches, and swapped 2, 3 matches not scoring with 2,3 matches scoring a lot of goals.

 

But… who can complain if you beat another record? :lol: The Black Pearl managed to beat Messi his record, and managed to score 98 goals in one calendar year!!! And on the way he improved the la Liga hattricks record to 19 Hatricks overall in la Liga

Christian his profile is already saying overconfident, but winning this for the second season in a row, and performing like he does, this is to be expected.

Again a solid season for the lads. Winning everything that we were able to win  :lol:

Lost the picture :blush:but 1 -0 win. Playing barca is always more tens for the team, and for the second season in a row it was a tight match

Although it was a small win, as you can see by the numbers, the team was dominating Sao Paulo

Easy run in the Spanish Cup with a victory over the Rivals Barcelona!

 

Champions league

A comfortable rid to the final, beating Grasshoppers 7-1, OM 4-1, Roma 5-0 along the way. The final was a different cup of tea. Playing Chelsea both teams failed to score in 120 minutes, and seeing Madrid win the penalty shoot out due to a missed penalty from Chelsea.

 

La Liga
