hi all,

 

just wanted to pop over and "officially" introduce myself.  i'm relatively new to FMH, but have played FMH13/14 pretty obsessively the past 2 years.  i've learned a ton from this forum and hope to give back in any way i can.

 

i live in the US and consider myself a Southampton supporter.  go saints!

Welcome to the site, what attracted you to Southampton?

i've always tended to root for underdogs, so when i started watching the BPL my inclination was to *not* root for any of the big 4 - i didn't want to jump on any bandwagons.  over time i came to really enjoy Southampton's style of play and i respect their philosophy of developing youth players.  plus i have mad respect for the team after they were gutted this summer yet made some astute signings and seem to be playing quite well so far.

i don't have any connection to volendam IRL...  i was just in the middle of a long-term volendam save when i first created an account here.  :lol:  to this day, it's still one of my favorite all time saves.
