Welcome to the Red Bull Arena!

You made it just in time! The new manager of this club will be announced in a couple of minutes.

I'll give the word to the owner of the club, Dietrich Mateschitz!

What are your plans for this club mr. Mateschitz?

- ''I have big plans for this club. Let me promise you this, RB Leipzig are going to be the champions of Germany in a couple of years!

That's why I managed to get a world class coach, wich I think he is the man for the job.''

Who is this world class coach?

- '' I'm thinking of Armando Dijksman. He won the Champions League with Ajax. That's a big accomplishment!

His first assignment will be to get RBL into the Bundesliga in 2 years. ''

Does mr. Dijksman have enough financial funds to buy players?

- '' We are giving him the funds he need to do the job.''

Why are you being so ambitious?

- '' I think that, in football, you have to set goals. If you don't set higher goals for yourself and the club, I think we could have stopped playing football.

That's why, and I think this is a goal that's possible, we will do this!

Thanks that all we need to know.

- You're welcome.

German Richdom

Until January (Season 1)

Red Bull Leipzig's dream to be the champions of Germany is going in the good direction. We have a good squad with youth and experience.

After 16 games were on top of the 2.Bundesliga. But we have one problem:

We play extremely good or extremely bad.

That's the reason we don't draw a lot.

We have a talented squad with Yussuf Poulsen, Marcel Sabitzer and the loaned Ante Rebic.

The board is happy with me, just as the fans. They waited years for this. The owner of the club invested millions!

Is this maybe the year were RB Leipzig is going to promote to maybe the greatest league of the world, the Bundesliga?

It's pretty close up there. I can't permit making lots of mistakes. With the attack force of Poulsen, Sabitzer and Bruno (since Rebic has a lot of injuries) we score a lot of goals. Poulsen got himself an average of 8.37.

I was really frustrated that game. We were unlucky getting 0-1 behind just before half time. From the moment we scored, we got a lot of chances.

I already made 3 changes, when some players got exhausted. A managerial mistake from me, I think ;(

The only chance in the 2nd half from there side, and it's a goal. 90th minute.

WOW! He was amazing! He scored 14 times in 18 games and made 6 assists.

He picked up an average rating of 8.37 and was really important for the team. I hope that I won't lose him to

some Bundesliga team in the January transfer window.
