Bought in the second season, so probably available for less at the start of the game. I was never convinced by Goretzka in FMH14 - inconsistent, tired easily, for all the stats going green quickly. I wanted a defensive mid, but due to FMH's misleading stats, he gets awful scores there and his morale declines accordingly. So I put him in central midfield as a BBM, where he delivers the goods. Cracking shot, wins the ball, passes like an angel. Here he is Just before I bought him:

Physically develops well, and his Fatigue levels suggest high work rate, even with high stamina. Bit of a drop in form ratings wise in his second season, due to a second attempt to play him in the doomed DM position, but still impressive contribution.


Doesn't need retraining, as his versatility in the middle is sufficient.

Probably my favourite buy alongside Sisto. Has captained even at the young age of 21, too. Great midfielder.
