2015 Incidents disappearing during games

Long time reader, first time poster.

 

I've noticed an issue since the latest patch on IOS where incidents that occur in the match seemingly disappear if I go straight into the tactics screen. This has happened to me three times now, twice when I've scored goals and once when the opposition had a player sent off. 

 

The first time it happened I thought I was going mad and had just imagined that I had scored, or that it was disallowed and I missed the commentary but then it happened again. I had pressed the tactics button but just before it went into the tactics screen I noticed my team had a corner so I decided not to make any changes before the corner was taken so I cancelled out. As the corner was taken I pressed the tactics button again so it would go in after the corner. The corner was taken, my Centre Back scored, the score changed from 3-0 to 4-0 and I noticed the scorers name on the overview screen as it briefly flicked there from the pitch view before opening the tactics screen so the goal definitely wasn't disallowed. When I came back out of the tactics screen the score was back to 3-0 and no trace of a goal or disallowed goal. I saved the match and watched the highlights back and there was no longer any corner around that minute, no disallowed goal or anything.

 

Finally it has just happened again, first 5 minutes of a match and one of their players gets a red card clearly in the commentary and on pitch view he starts walking off the pitch. I paused the game to do something else, when I came back I clicked tactics and re-started the match, it jumped into the tactics screen so I made my usual changes when I play against 10 men and carried on the game and didnt think any more of it, until 5 minutes later the man who got sent off scored the only goal! Again I though I must have read it wrong and a different player got sent off but they were still playing with 11. Again I saved the game, watched it back and there was no sign of my team even getting a free kick around this time.

 

Has anyone else noticed anything like this?

I have just had a disallowed goal disappear. Well it was 1 of 3 in the match.

The other 2 stayed.

I had thought a few times that disallowed goals had gone missing but I wasn't really too bothered as it was clear they were disallowed. To tell the truth I wasn't too fussed about the goals as I won the games convincingly, it was the red card that really annoyed me as I changed some elements of my tactic to play against 10 and the guy who was "sent off" scored the winner against me!

Still, it's not the end of the world, was just relieved that I wasn't going nuts!

Just had this happen to me, my 85th minute winner disappeared after entering the tactic screen straight after scoring.

Extremely annoying, considering it takes 10 game time mins sometimes to get to the tactic screen, and now I have to think twice about going to it immediately after scoring and risk leaving my team open to an all out attack... Will they ever get this right?

I keep checking the player stats during the game which says my team have scored 1-3 in the game but none have gone on the scoreboard.

I am glad i read this post. like japp, i thought i was having hallucinations when, three times recently, a scored goal simply disappeared. no listing of a disallowed goal or anything. unlike japp, however, i was not interacting in any way with the game. the player scored, his name went up, the players began to return to the center circle for the kickoff, the screen glitched and, poof, the score was gone and play continued as if nothing had happened.

I believe unplayable means that the bugs are game breaking and so bad that experience is ruined. Not seeing a goal appear or one disappearing and it counting doesn't make it unplayable.

That is one game breaking bug. Specially for players who constantly monitor their player stats during a game. Dec I know you have a relationship with some of the developers of FMH so you always try to defend the game when possible. But you have to be a little bit more critical. Its the only way to bring the quality of the game up.

It's not game breaking as it can easily be avoided, don't make a sub straight after you score wait for the next highlight and then do it.

It's just one of those stupid bugs that should have been spotted tbh, as Scott said it can be avoided but at the same time I can see it being game breaking just by the manor of the bug.

However only people on Vibe who have seen this thread will know of the issue and how to avoid it, there are plenty of players who don't visit here who will see it as game breaking. Image you've just got your "smaller" side to the CL final, amazingly you take the lead so you want to go more defensive/counter attacking only for your goal to disappear, that's infuriating!

Couldn't have said it better. The experienced viber will know how to avoid this. The new player will be confused and infuriated.

The problem with not making any changes straight after you score though is that you can leave yourself open to a quick equaliser. I was playing a game and it was 0-0 up to ~89th minute when I scored what should have been a winner, straight away I went to press the tactics button so I could go more defensive and protect the lead but thought better of it as my goal may disappear, but then the other team equalised straight from kick-off!!

 

It's really frustrating.

I found how to prevent this bug to happen (it happened to me also as I stated in this thread)

Instead of making changes immediately after goal (don't make any changes and click on Resume if you already clicked on Tactics just before the goal and brought to Tactics screen!!!) which may lead to the bug...

wait until the opposition team will stand before kick off (after your team celebrations) and click 'Tactics' immediately - you will be able to make the changes immediately and don't have to wait to next highlight. It is working so far for me, hope this will help...

One again: wait until celebrations finished until the score will change AND opposition team will stand BEFORE kick off - then click 'Tactics'

Game breaking signals it makes the game unplayable. It isn't this because....

They still count, just don't display

It can be avoid.

It doesn't mean you lose points, the game crashes or the game glitches to the point of no return.

Therefore while it is an annoying bug it isn't game breaking, that is a vast overreaction.

Yep, Billy is right. On one occasion I had battered a team all game but it was 0-0 in a match that was critical for my promotion bid. Was constantly tweaking during game to break them down, managed to make a change that worked and I took the lead with about 2 minutes left. Knowing how often I concede soon after scoring on the enhanced engine I made a change, came back out played out the last minutes without conceding. All good until I noticed that it was 0-0 and not 1-0. Saved the game and watched it back to make sure the goal wasn't disallowed and it wasn't, it had been wiped completely. There was a highlight of me having a corner in the right minute but the highlight ended as soon as the player hit the corner across, the ball travelled about a yard.

Missed out on automatic by a point which was annoying as well

Why would anyone ever change tactics after a goal? LOL

it kind of kills what little realism I can get out of the game...if I do nothing the cpu will score off the kickoff. If I slip and change tactics and it removes a cpu goal, I feel guilt. If I remove my own goal, I inevitably restart and feel shame.

If I wanted no realism, guilt and shame...I would attend a religious service.
