2015 AC Parma's Fall

Financial mis-management has led the Italian football club AC Parma to bankruptcy. These once European giants (2x UEFA CUP, 1x EC II, 1x European SC) will be 'dissolved' and automatically relegated at the end of the season. With the support of the other 19 Serie A teams Parma will remain in the Serie A and continue to play their games until season 2014/15 comes to an end.

The Team Then

The team looks good. Two loanees in midfield, Lodi and Acquah, add quality to the team. Cassano on the bench. A very respectable 3.27 average PA of the starting XI which is a very good number to start a season with and a nice 3.05 average CA to build upon. Total value of these eleven is a little short of 45M. Donadoni's team looks solid at this point.

The team has undergone a facelift due to the financial turmoil. 5 players remain from the original 11. Due to tremendous lack of quality and depth in the squad Donadoni's had to play subs and youth players to form a team. Total value is down. CA down. PA down. As are the club's ambitions and future.

Only fans from these kinda situation understands the pain. I remember this happening to Dortmund when they went Bankrupt so they had to sell the stadium to Signal Iduna and FC Bayern loaned us few millions to rebuild the club again.

It's very hard to say if they can get out from relegation position, but in saturday Parma win against Juve hahaha

IMO they still have one game in hand,victory would cut the deficit to 2 points,might be possible though
