As you can see, Samper starts off with stats that indicate that his future is bright. He was originally a Xavi-style player but has since remodelled himself to become a mini-Busquets. He is a great defensive midfielder who's best role is as a DLM. He can also double as an Advanced Playmaker (and has for me quite frequently).

 

Ideally his future role (if added to FMH) would be somewhere along the lines of a deep-lying playmaker, as when playing as an APM his defensive stats are wasted and when playing as a DLM his creativity is forgotten.

 

A slight issue to note (as is with many players this year) is that Samper CANNOT handle IT-intensive training. As a result he is on Fitness Tactical Training which he seems to be fine on (maximising his stamina and tactical ability with less of a cost to his other stats).

 

A world-beater for the future, Sergi Samper can easily slot into any team as a technically gifted DM who you can rely on to provide assists when required. Expect big things from one of the latest La Masia graduates (both in-game and in real life).
